Organic rose water from Alteya Organics is a gentle, alcohol-free toner for the face and body. The floral water is steam-distilled from high-quality Bulgarian roses. How to use organic rose water

Rose water is the natural step between cleansing and moisturising. It prepares the skin so that your subsequent skincare products are absorbed more easily. This applies whether your skin is dry, oily or somewhere in between, and the routine needn’t take more than a minute in the morning and evening.

• First, cleanse your skin with a mild facial wash or soap.
• Pat or spray the rose water onto your face and neck.
• Leave it to soak in for a moment whilst your skin is still damp.
• Finally, seal in the moisture with your moisturiser or oil.

You can also use the rose water all over your body to refresh yourself on hot days. Many people also use it on their hair, where it refreshes both the hair and scalp. The floral water comes from Bulgaria, where Damask roses have been cultivated for centuries. It’s best to store the bottle in a cool place so that the scent and refreshing effect feel even more pleasant. Rose water can also be used throughout the day, even over make-up, whenever your skin needs a breath of fresh air.
