Organic lavender water is an alcohol-free toner with a soothing, floral scent of lavender. Alteya Organics steam-distils the floral water from fresh lavender flowers in Bulgaria. As it contains no alcohol, it does not tighten the skin, making it suitable for all skin types, from dry and sensitive to oily.

How to use organic lavender water

Lavender water is the step between cleansing and moisturising, refreshing and preparing the skin.

• First, cleanse your skin with a gentle facial wash.
• Pat or spray the lavender water onto your face and neck.
• Leave it to soak in for a moment whilst your skin is still damp.
• Seal in the moisture with your moisturiser or oil afterwards.

You can also use it all over your body to cool down if you’re feeling hot, and in your hair, where it nourishes and refreshes both your hair and scalp.

The floral water is the pure distillate from steam distillation, where the water-soluble parts of the lavender flower are carried along with the steam into the bottle. No alcohol, perfume or preservatives have been added – just pure lavender from certified organic farms.
