Vitamin D3 + K2, Liposomal, 250 ml

Vitamin D3 + K2 combines two fat-soluble vitamins in a single liquid, liposomal dose. Vitamin D contributes to normal muscle function, to the normal functioning of the immune system and to the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin K also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.

Why Vitamin D3 + K2 is combined

Each 10 ml dose provides 25 micrograms of D3, equivalent to 1,000 IU, and 200 micrograms of K2 in the well-documented all-trans MK-7 form. Both vitamins play a role in bone health and therefore often work together. The body produces vitamin D itself when the sun is high in the sky, but during the Danish autumn and winter months, the sun is too low for this to happen; therefore, official dietary guidelines recommend supplementation during the darker months.

How to take the supplement

• Take 10 ml daily, preferably with a meal.
• The fat in the meal helps the fat-soluble vitamins to be absorbed effectively.
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
• Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

The bottle contains 25 doses and should be stored in a cool place once opened. The flavour is mild with a hint of sea buckthorn, and the dose can be mixed with water if you prefer.

The form of vitamin K2 deserves a mention. MK-7 is the variant that remains in the body the longest. ‘All-trans’ means that the entire content is the active form. These are two details that distinguish good products from cheap ones. Both are clearly stated here. The dosage is simple: one spoonful a day, preferably with a meal. Consistency is key during the winter months. Put the bottle out in October and leave it out until spring.
