From an ancient source to your bath

The Zechstein source lies deep underground in northern Europe, where the magnesium chloride has been protected from modern pollution for millions of years. The salt is extracted without any additives, so the sachet contains only nature’s own minerals, primarily magnesium chloride supplemented by calcium, sodium and potassium chloride. The salt is coarse and dissolves quickly in warm water. A one-kilo bag is enough for many baths. For a foot bath, a couple of handfuls are usually sufficient, whilst a full bath may require more.

How to use your magnesium bath salt

• Dissolve the salt in warm water as instructed on the bag.
• Use it as a foot bath after a long day on your feet.
• Or pour it into the bath and soak for 20 minutes.
• The salt is for external use only.

You can also make your own magnesium oil. Dissolve the salt in boiled, preferably distilled, water in a 1:1 ratio, and pour the mixture into a spray bottle. Then you’ll have the salt’s minerals in a form you can take with you anywhere. The mixture is fragrance-free and can be used wherever it fits into your routine.
