Resveratrol from grapes and Japanese knotweed

The compound is best known from grapes and red wine, although it is found there only in very small quantities. Japanese knotweed is nature’s most concentrated source, which is why ActiNovo extracts it from this plant. The compound belongs to the polyphenols, a large family of plant compounds, and is produced by the plant as its own defence against the sun and stress. In the supplement, it is encapsulated in phospholipid liposomes.

How to take the supplement

• Take 10 ml daily with a meal.
• Choose either morning or evening, as you prefer.
• The bottle contains 25 doses and should be stored in a cool place once opened.
• Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

If you were to obtain 100 mg from your diet, it would require several bottles of red wine a day, which nobody recommends.
